DOD Approval
HJ3 has developed a proprietary blast mitigation technology based in advanced carbon fiber and thermoset resins.  This system can be installed on existing support structures to withstand blast loads as high as 180-psi while maintaining the structural integrity of the structure and providing full confinement to the structure.  The system is non-combustible and is approved for medium to high level blast threats by the DOD. HJ3’s blast system has been used for various industrial applications to strengthen concrete and masonry walls against the threat of blasts created by certain gasses.  These systems can be installed (at thicknesses less than ½-inch) in place of traditional repairs including thick concrete and steel systems.
