Many Thanks

2012 was an eventful year and the team at HJ3 has so much to be thankful for; our health, our friends and families, and the integrity of our team who always goes the extra mile to give the best possible service. In the spirit of our good friend and colleague George Salustro, who always put others before himself, we will always express our gratitude in part by giving back to our community.
This holiday season, HJ3 helped sponsor the 2012 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Tucson chapter’s “Breath of Life Gala”. Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that clogs the lungs, possibly causing life-threatening lung infections, and obstructs the pancreas preventing natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food. The theme of this year’s annual fundraiser was “Bollywood Bash”. The gala event helped raise $384,000, nearly doubling the previous year’s results!

In December, HJ3 also participated in the Salvation Army’s “Adopt a Family” holiday program. This year we adopted 2 families who had fallen on hard times and could not give their children the Christmas they wanted. Words cannot express the emotions that were felt as we greeted each family and their faces lit up when they saw the pile of gifts we had brought them.As we move forward in 2013, we know we have much more work to do as a company. We’ll continue to lead in innovation, helping to strengthen the world’s infrastructure one application at a time as we offer our clients the strongest materials, the best service and the highest quality of work possible.  We’ll also ask ourselves each day how we can give back to help strengthen our community.
