Historical Restoration
HJ3’s high strength Composite systems can be used to restore historical masonry buildings for change of use projects.  HJ3’s products are used to strengthen support beams, columns, and walls.  Our composite systems also create a translucent UV protected system that can be used to restore internal masonry walls.  This system strengthens the wall while maintaining the historic look and feel of the brick masonry. HJ3’s high strength composite materials are excellent solutions to strengthen various support structures to handle increased seismic loads.  These applications include strengthening walls to handle higher shear forces; axial confinement of R/C columns to create ductility and greater load carrying capacity against increased bending forces; and transforming weak and brittle concrete and masonry walls into strong and ductile structures.  These composite systems are installed at a lower cost than alternative shot-crete and steel systems without adding additional mass to the building.
