Habitat for Humanity |
| Tucson, AZ | |
| George was excited to establish a relationship with Habitat for Humanity, a national non-profit organization who believes in “a world where everyone has a decent place to live”. HJ3 participated in a Tucson Habitat build in the spring of 2011, and we look forward to future builds in the coming year. | |

Salvation Army "Adopt-a-Family" |
| Tucson, AZ | |
| At HJ3, we believe that giving is receiving. We also count our blessings, knowing how difficult it is for many families today. The holidays especially are a time for giving thanks and remembering what is important. In 2010, HJ3 was able to adopt 2 families through the Salvation Army of Tucson’s “Adopt a Family” program. There were 4 children, whose faces lit up like Christmas trees when we brought them a few gifts for the holiday. George was as giddy as Santa Claus himself. | |

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation |
| Tucson, AZ | |
| One of our team members, John Nighswander, has a grandson who has been living with Cystic Fibrosis since birth. Currently there is no cure for Cystic Fibrosis, which is a chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). Since his grandson’s birth, John has participated in numerous fundraising efforts by organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This November 2011, in support of our co-worker and his contributions, HJ3 was able to help raise $2,000 for the cause. | |
