INSPIRED BY GEORGE
George Salustro was a jovial leader who inspired everyone at HJ3 to think beyond themselves. He demanded that the company give back to the community and be conscious of our environmental footprint. George launched our Community Service efforts, Recycling Efforts, and Educational Outreach. It is rare to meet a soul like George that put his heart and soul into everything he touched. Whether it was as Husband, Father, Coach, or Friend, George spread love and compassion to all he came in contact with.
George spent the greater portion of his teenage years and adult life dedicated to the practice of Karate. As a young adult in Boston, MA, George managed his own Dojo where he taught kids of all ages the art of Karate. For George, Karate was a way for him to service his local community and help build discipline and confidence in his students.
When George came to HJ3 as the Production Manager, he would fondly call the production area his dojo. For George, the term dojo signified the place where discipline, hard work, and growth would be possible. We decided that “George’s Dojo” would therefore be the perfect name for HJ3’s community outreach.
